A wide rock-walled Chute with a double fall line
The October Chute is filled in many months out of the year, and holds great, wind protected powder most days. The snow stays cold in here due to its extreme north facing aspect. It is a great way to finish a lap on the Worm, or a good objective in itself. Beware the large boulder field at the bottom, sometimes these can be just barely covered with fresh snow. It is steepest at the very top, then mellows out for a nice consistent, albeit double fall line pitch for the remainder. Written by Charlie Boscoe
