A rather difficult unmarked hike from Breiðavík Hiking Hut up Litluvíkurdalur valley and over Dalsvarp
(65°26.44-13°41.90) and Herjólfsvíkurvarp (65°25.70-13°42.75) passes. After entering a 4WD road
in Gunnhildardalur valley, one can follow the road to the Húsavík Hiking Hut. Though once a frequented trail between inlets, this route is risky in fog.
