Beautiful full day trip with views of Hardangervidda, Hardangerjøkulen and Hallingskarvet.
The starting point on this trip can vary, an there is three main option.
Follow Pariserløypa from Vestlia up to Hakkeset, or
Take the chair lift from Vestlia Resort to save some energy or Drive to or take the ski bus to Kikut/Hakkeset as in the description.
Continue in beautiful terrain to Grønebakken and towards Ustetind. At the intersection towards Tuva you turn north to Ustaoset.
At Ustaoset you can either take the normal route or a 15km longer
Normal route: continue over Eimehæe to Prestholt.
Longer Route (as shown): Continues North-West towards Embretstølen and reaches its tuning point above Raggenuten. From Raggenuten you follow signes towards Prestholt over Hesteberget.
By taking the longer rout you will pass the famous climbing cabin to Arne Næss at Tvergastein.
At Prestholt you can enjoy a great meal and some varm drinks before you enjoy the last slopes back to Havsdalen and Geilo.
PS: check If the tracks are groomed at before you start your adventure.
