From the Campsite the leg warmer takes you across the Barrage along the north side of the reservoir to the foot of the climb to Riviere D'Allemont. The climb up is relentless. The trees offer shade shelter from the sun. Once at RA, if you plan to continue on there is a huge drop down inot a hidden valley before a long punishing climb all the way up to the Col De Glandon and beyond, other wise turn around go back down to the reservoir and then take the left turn to Vaujany. Here the hairpin bends and the searing heat are merciless as you climb the steep winding road to the Ski station. Great ride with nice views at the top
