The Wellington Rocks Course offers the perfect balance of adventure and challenge for riders who want to push themselves. Starting with a scenic ride through Tenterfield, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Great Dividing Range. After crossing Tenterfield Creek, the route takes you into Leeches Gully Road, where you’ll experience a series of fast climbs and descents.
The course leaves the bitumen behind and heads onto gravel roads through Basket Swamp National Park, with its rugged terrain, creek crossings, and technical challenges. You’ll enjoy sections of fast gravel and experience the thrill of steep downhill trails as you navigate the forest. Turning onto Lindrook Road you make a sharp climb before some fun rollovers take you to Basket Swamp Road.
With stunning views, technical riding through creek beds, and a rewarding downhill ride, the Medium Course offers a mix of adventure, beauty, and a little bit of grit. After tackling the last climb on Lindrook Road, you’ll enjoy a fast, bitumen descent along Mt Lindesay Road and back to the finish line—where a refreshing drink awaits you!
Terrain = 28.5km gravel & fire trails & 37.5km bitumen
