Don't be fooled by the whimsical nature of the Fashionable Badger, it has a real bite to it's personality. The start of the route is the 3 fields followed by the magical climb of the fairy glen. A short road section takes you to the view point at the top of Parbold hill and you then descend with little concern for safety to Wood Lane. Follow Wood Lane to it's end at Parbold, turn left and left again prior to the canal bridge - take care, cars here at the lights and main road! The route crosses bridge 3 and you then have a flat, fast and soul destroying run along the towpath to reach the hill of suffering.
