Team Ride 02/12/2016 Rolling out from Newton Aycliffe with a rotating line of 5 minutes in each position (10mins total on the front) keeping a moderate pace (around Z3), easing off on the hills and keeping the pressure on when descending up until Scorton. From Scorton through Middleton Tyas and to the turn off the B6275 ‘threw and off’ at a steady pace that allows everyone to contribute with the emphases on smooth turns and keeping an even intensity (backing off uphill and pushing on the faster sections). (this can also be a turn off if you feel that you have done enough – continue to Pierce Bridge, Walworth, Heighington, etc) Return back to 5 minute turns at a steady pace through Eppleby and continue to Staindrop. Final Flourish from Staindrop to Walworth Castle turn off doing ‘through and off’ building up the pace while maintaining form. Cruise back from Walworth Castle back to HQ.
