The Ultimate London 2 Brighton Route!! Leaving The Dynamo in Putney, you'll head out of SW London on quiet roads and picturesque lanes. Crossing the M25 leads to more of the same and few 'ups and downs' as you come into the North Downs. Stop at Tulleys' Farm Cafe at just over half way (it's very well sign posted). Leaving the farm takes you further into the downs past beautiful reservoirs, Viaducts and pretty villages, before arriving at the foot of Ditchling Beacon, This is the biggest climb on the ride (included in the UK Top 100 Climbs list) and is an absolute must for any cyclist Once you've reached the top you can see the seaside, and just have to wind down the final 10km into the town. At the pier(after the photos) head down on the beach walkway and follow it along until you come to The Tempest Inn - stop in for a burger or 'the best seafood in Brighton'
