Day 3 - JD - Pico Veleta

The highest climb in Europe and this is my favourite way up. Starting in the quaint village of Pinos Genil we climb on to the main road before turning off for another side approach. Then we continue on to the barrier above the Ski Station at 2500masl where we can refill before the last slog to the top. Quick photos and then descend after carefully checking the tires for any damage.

Transfer to the base and a transfer back. The climb is long enough and by the time we descend not many have the desire to ride home, but it's an option...
