Mieders to Maria Waldrast
Hikes don't get much more family friendly than this - the paths throughout are wide and easy, there's a mountain hut at each end of the hike and in the middle, and there isn't too much ascent to be done....

It leads you quickly out of town and into lovely forests before then taking you to a summit with one of the best vistas in the region, and that's saying something....
