This route can be done in either direction but is more popular the way it's drawn here - starting at Myra parking lot and going to Ruth Station....

Thuja Plicata
Thuja Plicata is a beginner-friendly trail at One Mile Lake perfect to hone in your riding skills, and great for younger riders. It's a great start or finish to the classic Lumpy's Epic ride, and a perfect trail to session over while enjoying fun wooden rollers built of western cedar....

Del Boca Vista
Del Boca Vista is the perfect intro into narrow single track technical riding. It is the perfect blend of rocks, roots, berms and straightaways. Add to the mix a few hairpin corners and you have the perfect training ground for those wanting to delve into the world of technical riding....

Kathleen Lake and Glenmore Ridge
This is a great loop offering fun riding, varied views and a good excuse to visit Kathleen Lake.
Start out at the Knox Mountain parking lot, and climb up Knox Mountain Drive - a road closed to cars but open to bikers which provides an easy way to gain height....

Myra Bailout
With a long, winding ascent followed by a fun but easy trail down, this is a trip for riders who enjoy views and ambience as much as riding itself. The Myra Bailout trail is a great journey, but has very few technical sections and isn't going to present many problems to intermediate or advanced riders....

Level Up
The 2nd easiest route (after Switcheroo) off the Sunburst Express chairlift, this is a fun and meandering way down the mountain. The trail has 3 quite contrasting sections, which means that even if you don't love the part you're on, you stand a good chance of liking the next bit!
The route is accessed via a short trip along a 4x4 track and is then clearly signposted off to the right....

Switcheroo
This line is long, fun and flowy, with minimal technicality and no significant obstacles. Depending on your taste in trails that will either be extremely appealing, or sound like a waste of a lap!
The berms, bends and tiny (optional) jumps of Switcheroo are well manicured and this is generally about as stress-free as downhill biking gets....

When Pigs Fly Shuttle
When Pigs Fly is one of Boer Mountain's signature downhills. This intermediate jump trail was constructed by the renowned Gravity Logic crew from the Whistler Bike Park, so you know that the flow and design of this trail are absolutely on point!
All of the trails off the top of Boer Mountain can either be looped or shuttled, but the route shown here is a shuttle lap down When Pigs Fly....

Loose Moose Shuttle
Loose Moose is one of the newest additions to the Williams Lake Trail System at the time of this writing in 2022. This modern flow trail descending the flanks of Fox Mountain was professionally machine built by Jeremy Stowards and Wylie Easton of New Path Forestry, Ltd....

Easy Wind
This line does what it says on the tin; it's easy, and winds down through a beautiful series of forests and meadows.
Features-wise, much of the terrain is rolling, so there are plenty of opportunities to take mini airs, but there aren't any real "jumps"....

McGillivray Lake and Snowshoe XC Trail
McGillivray Lake can be reached by car, but this is a much nicer way of getting there, and allows you to get a bit of exercise, see some great forests, and ride a fun little trail....

Mount Morrisey
N.B. Sun Peaks resort is building a new ascent trail to the top of Mount Morrisey, and a singletrack descent to go with it, but at the time of writing (July 2022) neither are complete....

BX Creek, Corkscrew & Chakra
This is a great little trip which is ideally suited to getting a bit of fresh air and exercise before breakfast. The route starts right from Silver Star village and begins on a nice, wide and easy jeep track which is signposted clearly the whole way....

With A Twist
With a Twist tours scenic alpine terrain for a moderately challenging trail ride near Mount Sproatt. Accessed by way of rugged 4x4 roads, the trail ends at a fork where a left leads onto On The Rocks, and right leads down the mountain on Into the Mystic....

Ninja Lake Loop
The Ninja Lake Loop offers a stunning high mountain ride through alpine terrain just north and west of Gin Peak. A hidden alpine lake makes for a great summer swimming hole, and much of the circuit is above the tree line in alpine terrain....

Bobsled Loop
If you were just to pedal up and ride the Bobsled Trail on Mount Fromme, it would be a very short ride. However, most people use this trail as a warm up lap to get the blood flowing before they really start hitting the more difficult stuff higher up the mountain....

High Side -> Hi Hi -> Farside
This short loop highlights the best flow trails in the Cheakamus Trail System by connecting High Side to Hi Hi to Farside. Taken together, this is a fantastic little loop for burgeoning mountain bikers who are looking for fun and flow as they work their way up to the more technical demands of the rest of Whistler's trail system....

Barclay Creek
Slightly removed away from the bigger Kootenay towns, this is fast becoming a classic "locals' secret" ride, thanks to its stunning location and fun riding.
The ride is accessed from just above Fruitvale and there's space for about 5 cars at the parking lot....
