Helvellyn via Sticks Pass

A fantastic technical ride from Glenridding up and down Sticks Pass on the way to and from Helvellyn - this is many people's favourite Lakeland descent.
This route is good in both directions, with some great technical singletrack climbing on the way up from the old Glenridding mines, (as well as an inevitable amount of pushing) and what many would vote as one of the best descents in the Lakes. The route summits Sticks Pass before turning and undulating (big undulations!) over to Helvellyn. From the summit, the outward journey is simply reversed for some fantastic technical and challenging singletrack riding all the way down to the pubs and cafes of Glenridding.
