Do it all, cycling, running, hiking.  My sport history: Between 1990-2002 I was a fanatic runner. Set some PR's which are nowadays a blur dream to reach again (e.g. 1500m: 4m17s; 3000m: 9m12s; 5km:16m12s; 10km: 33m45s;10EM: 56m25s). Due to injuries, overtraining and baby borns I quit this sport  in 2002. 3 years later I “discover” cycling. I think I can say, I have even more talent for cycling then running, however in my first really trained year as cyclist (2007), I hit the road against one’s will 3 times (2 times something broken in my arm, 1 time concussion of the brain) These accidents makes me a scary biker to bike in groups & peletons. Some of my biking achievements are: a) On testbenches in hospitals I showed Wattages above 500Watt (starting from 0[Watt], with a continues slope of  40[Watt/minute] ) (@own-weight 74[kg]).  b) My cycling veloviewer score on Strava is above 99.6+.  c)  Proud on my Camerig achievement, the so called longest hill in the Netherlands (4.2km), I’m (or least was) nr  1 on Strava age 35+ & age 45+ of more then resp. 3000 & 2000 attempts of other cyclists .  However the dreaming of being a runner starts again during my biking years. It shall take to 2012, 10 years after quiting running, that I run for the first time again. Cycling kilometers become less and less after 2012, while running hours increases (in combination with hiking and mountain climbs). I run now more relaxed, less focussed on achievements in time, compared to 10 years ago. However, in 2012/2013 I have to deal with many (small) muscle injuries, but the amount of injuries decreases, due to increasing body resistance. Now it is 2015. My targets are: a) Doing some nice longer trailruns and adventures hikings in the mountains. b) Keep enjoying the running (and sometimes biking). c) Improving my runningspeed somewhere (without sharp target setting, because enjoying and being healthy is more important).  d) I’m aware of the increase of my age (this year: 46/47), i cannot neglect this totally, but one of my long term targets is to become at the age of 50 a man with a condition which make most young people jealous;-).
