Crillon-la-Brave -> Crillon-la-Brave: An occasional time trial up the Mont Ventoux on a “rest day” 🫣⏱️.

Decided to stay around an extra night and join the 3rd stage of the Haute Route Ventoux by putting in my own TT effort starting from Bédoin. After 8 consecutive long days of cycling (43+hrs), I didn’t expect it to go so well (of course I did it without my luggage). I was able to control and manage my efforts all the way to the top. Although the body is tired, it makes me feel unbelievably strong and alive I’m able to do this ☺️.
- Haute Route TT time: 1h23m12s
- Strava segment time: 1h19m57s (= PR - 18min. 😎)
My powermeter failed me halfway (again), I don’t know if it effected me in a positive way or not 🙃.

P.S. I have the tradition to take a stone (last picture) with me every time I reach the top of the Ventoux, which should make each next time easier (because eventually it’s getting smaller/less high 😄).
