A pretty nice day out meeting old and new friends, forgot how much it hurt to go that far, but managed to get some energy in the middle of the night and push on for the win! 
Some very tough runners in Nelson (and surrounding areas, Salmo especially!) , always knew it but like the reaffirmation of how lucky I am to be in this town 
Most importantly a perfectly organised event by Stephen Harris and co, even with the last minute changes everything was seamless, will be rallying friends and maybe even family to join for next year!!
Definitely wouldn’t of made 50 laps 😆
