The pros get to do a cool race in Italy to mark the end of the season but I’m not old enough or good enough to do that yet so here I am. 😂 Jokes aside, that was amazing. I should mention, whatever asshole left their dog’s orange diarrhea in the leaves on the bike path, thanks a lot. It shot up into my face when my front wheel hit it because I couldn’t see it in the leaves. 🖕 Not enough to totally ruin the ride though. Finally had actual fall weather and not 30 degrees, very little wind and I felt great the whole time. Just warm enough to wear shorts with arm warmers and no big gloves. There’s something about the feeling you get doing a ride like this purely for fun and nothing else. Brings me back to when I started riding MTB as a small child. I wish I had a few more hours to do some more climbs and maybe head to Bear but I have some stuff to do at home. I guess I’ll have to make this loop bigger soon. 😁 Probably taking an easy day tomorrow. I’m going to start gathering some parts to work on that old Peugeot I got yesterday. That’ll be a perfect recovery day ride when it’s done. 😁👍
