Last year around this time, I ran a FKT on the West Side Trail, a gorgeous 10-mile out and back from Yarmouth to Cousin’s Island. While my original plan this year was to try and improve on my time, I decided to instead run a 3x out-and-back to create a route of approximately 50k (because 10 miles seemed too short and boring haha). I’m planning to submit it for an official FKT and we’ll see if it gets approved - if so, I’d encourage other locals to get out and try it!! Great moderate effort today.
