Went full gas at the start to try and make up any time lost in the water. I was a little toasted on the last few miles where the road got hilly again but my first couple of miles were solid. I probably pushed too hard up Bacon Hill but I recovered decently. There were some packs of riders that were hard to pass but it didn't matter too much. I think I made up my most time on the bike. Took in some calories too
