Chiltern league XC - Campbell Park MK

I gave Sean a ten minute break on helping out Oxsrad to get to 1500 miles

HRR 10:45 run, my turn to lead and we came in close to the advertised pace

Lovely ride from Stanford in the Vale out to Millets for lunch

My lead today but because of potential ice I delayed the start till 11am and we only had one stop at Gails in Witney with a shortened ride.

A long but flat ride apart from Dragon Hill. It was awful in the conditions today, really heavy rain and very high winds as we tackled the hill itself. Nearly got blown off when I got to the top so I pushed it along there. The rain was hitting my face like needles. 
There weren’t as many as usual at the car park for mince pies and mulled wine but we enjoyed ours and were very grateful to the volunteers for braving the weather to hand them out. 
We went from there to the cafe in Stanford in the Vale for lunch. When we left the cafe, the sun was out and we had a nice, wind assisted ride home. Tiring though.
