Upstream slower as slightly net uphill, but also hampered by a bit of headwind and a navigational error in Ladywell Fields (maybe worth 30”). Much calmer today than last year when I first jogged this as a Camino Greenway on a day when the rivers Ravensbourne and Pool were at their wildest after heavy rainfalls, but still a nice path. I could probably chop two or three more minutes off this with less wind, a little more luck with road crossings (not too bad today, though), more appropriate shoes and fresher legs, but this is all the legs had today - good enough for one week on from D2D. A better runner (especially a local knowing the route well) can undoubtedly improve this further by a significant amount. Was a nice way to motivate myself to get the legs moving today, though 😁 Apologies for the flood of pictures, but always take an abundance for route verification purposes. Since the end points are slightly ambiguous, for the avoidance of doubt: I ran from the bollards on Copperas St / Creek Rd to the barrier at the Kings Hall Rd entrance to Cator Park.
