The VJ lightspeed is fun! I added a regular cushion insole. Like the Nnormal Kjerag and Salomon s lab pulsar, the Lightspeed comes with none. The heel cushion and midfoot rocker is amazing! As a soft cushion fan, I easily like these better than the Kjerag and Pulsar. I only wish the VJ’s here had more forefoot cushion because when I go fast I land on my forefoot. I found myself slowing down to take advantage of the softer heel cushion and rocker. I could see these being a good 50k speed shoe because most folks won’t be landing on their forefoot at 50k pace.
