SMOKIES! Such a misty magical towering rhodie wonderland. 
For the most part a very runnable loop. If only New England trails considered the option of switchbacks... Slushy riverbed trail at higher elevations felt like home though 😂
Also apparently I've grown pretty confident in my digestive system bc I decided to eat a big stack of pancakes about 45 minutes before starting. Definitely felt a little queasy through the first few miles but glad I started forcing some fuel down at around the hour mark. 
Last bop on the AT for a while.
