Beautiful day in West Texas. First race in Big Bend :)

A good roller coaster of a race. Been nursing an angry knee for the last several months, and it was talking to me for the first ten or so miles. Hit a nice groove at around mile 15 and held onto that for an hour or so. Saw second female at mile 22 and picked it back up. Last four miles were tough and that afternoon sun was hot. Managed to hold onto 1st female! Left Texas with cracked lips, a few more freckles and a full sun tank.
