Today was a good day on the bike at @challengemallorcafemenina 🔥 

The team rode an awesome race and we were all super united. I felt really well looked after in the first part of the race, especially by @maaikeboogaard_ and @ilse.pluimers who did a great lead out into the first climb. @mirebp was super strong on the climbs too, making the pace and protecting me. 

Unfortunately, there was a split on the descent of the third-to-last climb due to the slippery conditions. I decided not to take the risk this early in the season. But luckily, I had three teammates, @mirebp , @marthegoossens_ and @ghekierejustine , who helped me chase on the descent.

Movistar took over on the penultimate climb and made the pace hard in chase of the 5 rider breakaway. I managed to jump across just as we summited and found myself in the front group of 4. But then, there was another split on the descent when Silvia crashed. This is where Magdeleine made her move. Mavi and I chased hard and I managed to take second place in the sprint!

It’s a great start to the season and my legs feel strong. 
Thanks to my Wolfpack for the amazing support, trust and belief! Looking forward to racing again tomorrow!
