Round #4 of the Scottish road race series started in typical Scottish summer weather, 11 degrees, drizzle and a strong westerly blowing.....nice! Three went off the front after about 10 miles so I quickly ditched the plan to sit in the bunch and chased them down with two others. A 9 man break formed and we worked well and pulled a couple of minutes over the next 30/40 miles. Big Harry Tanfield went solo with 25 miles to go 😳! A few dropped out the back and I came in 6th with major cramp issues!  Chuffed with the result, it's my highest placing in an E123 road race (not including a crit at Croft) 😊
