To the Start of the Perm

An amazing day riding along the most iconic beaches in the east: Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and Hollywood. 

We started the day searching for the next segment of the M-path trail. Now a weekday, it was under active construction, but we eventually found where it was ridable again. As we neared downtown Miami we started to see the final outcome of the construction -- a really beautiful result. Very nice trail that takes you "almost" to the beach. The rest of the way was an on-highway bike lane which was also nicely done. From there on we were on A1A bikepath or boardwalk bike path. With the strong tailwind from the south, we motored along at 18 mph without hardly pedaling. Of course, that South wind was a crosswind for the bridges onto the barrier island.
