Pocklington (York)-Great Easton-across-Pocklington for my DIY 600.  Rear wheel lost a spoke at 300k near what will be the Great Easton control: limped to McDonald's at London Stansted to fit a repair then limped 100km to St Ives for a proper repair, losing 6 hours in the process. My route mapping near Hatfield Heath took me up a bridleway - should've checked more. Oh, and nearly rode straight into the River Cam at Cambridge.
