I won’t be sad if I never climb El Yunque again 🥵. Was on a good pace the 1st 20/25 min of the full climb then completely came apart. Between the humidity, heat, and vehicle/people traffic the last 20/25min was a rough go. Probably best to do this climb really early in the morning when it isn’t so hot and there aren’t tons of people at the top. That is a wrap for my time on a bike in PR, which has been really amazing. The cyclist calling this place home are really lucky and the amount of them I see each day is really inspiring.
