Apparently my Di2 seat post battery died from all the sweat?! 🤢 Anyways, thought I was gonna steal a quick charge and ended up with a new battery 2h later and no time to finish my ride. Sara just told me that someone on a recent group ride said that sram is for heavy sweaters because they have a patent for the battery going in the handlebars and apparently this is like a known thing in the bicycling community. Shimano hast to put their battery in the seat post because they can’t violate the patent that sram has and I guess sweat easily accumulates their and the salt can destroy batteries.
