Nothing beats breaking the tape and seeing your fam immediately after. I’ll remember that for a long time

Not my day with the performance as a whole. I certainly felt fantastic through 12 when my undoing of past marathons became my undoing today. I thought I had the solution a little under control but things just could not go down for me, and once things stop going down it’s all over. Hurt locker from 17 out. Fitness and honestly the body strength is there, just an unknowing question of how we resolve fuel intake, we’re not there yet. A tough reason to underperform after great build up after build up, but my hope is one day I will learn something about my body to make it work.

Thanks to my family who made it out here today and Gazelle Elite - 2nd Generation for letting Coach get one more in before we’re off to the races with some exciting things this summer and fall. Excited to focus on our superstars and my family for a bit while I take a look at things when it comes to my own running and what makes sense next. Regardless of the outcome today that’s been the plan for a bit now.
