7 Wainwrights in an out and back, culminating with Scafell Pike.

I shall rate them for you.

1. Pike of Blisco - short sharp walk up from wrynose pass. Very good views:effort ratio
8/10

2. Cold Pike - mostly grassy stroll, decent views but not much of a summit. 6/10

3. Crinkle crags - fun wee scramble on the step - views improving 8/10

4. Bowfell - peak of the day. Awesome views to scafell pike and the many other fells and down the valley. Cool summit too. 9/10

5. Esk pike - getting closer to scafell! Views good although perspective to scafell pike not as cool as from Bowfell. Lumpier. 7/10

6. Great End - mid end. Good views from a lesser summit but very broad top. 5/10

7. Scafell Pike - the big daddy. Tallest in England. Heaving with funny tourists and not my favourite summit cairn. Great views though. 7.5/10

Fairly sunburnt but that’s valid for the hottest day of the year
Oh and phone died on way back so stats are a bit minimised
