Rad day! Had some insanely good legs and was just off lead group after first climb. Ended up catching Pete then rode up to Tobin after a while. Shortly after getting shelled on the road climb after Pete LIT it up I cramped up and came unclipped putting my foot through my front wheel and breaking a spoke 🤦‍♂️ 

Thought my race was over and gave up for a second, but then decided to just send it because waiting around would have sucked. Wobbly wheel for the last 35 miles somehow held up. Came down to sprint finish and secured 3rd. Stoked! Always something with gravel you just have to keep motoring on! 

Amazing course and happy with the effort. Propper Hopper for sure.
