Felt pretty good considering I have literally no elevation to run near my house. Felt great up and over Colvin and Blake. Ran out of water and filled up in a stream at the bottom of Nippletop. The climb up Nippletop is savage and did a number on my energy. I was still feeling good along the ridge to Dial until my legs started cramping. Managed to stave it off for a bit with some salty snacks but I had to drink the rest of my water to get it down. Happened upon another stream on the back side of Dial and filled up again and crammed in some more salt. That gave me what I needed to get the legs through to the end. With 2.5km left, I did the math and figured I could probably set the FKT and really turned on the gas.
