🏃🏃🏃 Forgotten Watch, Found Adventure! 🏃‍♂️💨

Today’s run was quite the adventure! I planned for a recovery zone 2 run, only to realize I left my watch charging at home. You know the drill—if it’s not on Strava, it didn’t happen! 😅 So, I dashed home to grab it, convinced my wife Aleksandra to join me, and headed back to the office.

Starting off slow (but maybe still a bit fast for my non-runner wife, don't tell her I said that!), I felt every muscle in my legs. It was a perfect opportunity to focus on my form—landing softly, maintaining posture, and appreciating the slower pace. Surprisingly, this recovery run became a beautiful moment to reconnect with my wife. That’s the true essence of recovery—to regain something lost during the more intense workouts.

After a few short breaks to share running tips with Aleksandra, we completed 4k together. She went her way, and I continued to hit my 10k goal. Note to self: Summer runs need an earlier start to beat the heat! Despite the warm weather, it was an excellent run that gave back more than it took. 🏃‍♂️💪
