I have old history with this mountain. I actually prefer it to the Tumble. But this climb, 13 years ago at the Junior Tour of Wales, was my first real good result on a summit finish in a race. From there I got my contract with the UCI team Rapha Condor. What a journey that has been. 

Met up with coached rider Steve today, as he’s visiting home for a few daysand couldn’t pass on the chance to try and effort up Llangynidr. Some fabulous climbs and roads around here, and plenty we didn’t do but if you are ever in the area it’s a top location for cycling🙂☀️
