crossing lake travis, another frontier!  our mission, to explore strange new routes; to seek out new life and new shenanigans; to boldly go where no/few (road) bikes have gone before! [sic]
been to trails end and "the beach" before and seen the low lake; kory envisioned it would be cross-able some day... this time down to a 15ft wide flowing stream, so shoes+socks off and shouldered the bikes across to Jonestown for an inspired detour. (plan was a pile of travisso hills, but they will be there for another day).  so much fun!! 🤩
tried a bunch of gravel that eventually was way too pitchy+rough+long, but went as far as we could.
