Wow. Tough race. Definitely have never pushed that hard for so long. Back and forth with Leo the whole way after going out at a not-so-prudent pace. 

I was leading at the top of Kokoda (20km) and then went off course for a while… blacked out and was woken up by a hiker lying on the side of a random trail. No idea how I got there and how long I was out for. Had a good few vomits and then drank some Maurten and then got up and jogged it in 😅 was on the ground for about 25 mins according to elapsed-moving…

Had a 30s lead at the top of Kokoda and thought I had it but was pushing hard and no idea what happened from there 😧

Was a great series, shame to not quite finish how I was hoping. Congrats to Leo and the other guys who made up the podium :)
