Disappointed to not be able to show the good form and preparation. Same problem as in tour of turkey and tour of hellas on the long stages with a long mountain top finish. I ran out of energy half way up the climb and feel dizzy, empty and without any power left in my legs. Pace on the climb was not even high with 330 watt avg for the first 30min. Dont know why this happens, especially today i was extra carefull on feeding and took on 120g/h on the first 4h. First 4h wh really easy with only 175 watt average, an intensity which i had 1,76 g/min CHO oxidation in my last metabolic testing. So i took on more carbs than i burned in the first 4h. Maybe the fueling is too much as i also had the feeling of stomach sickness in the last part of the climb. Will try to work on that to be better next time
