I needed a good bonk, it’s been a minute. 

Good hard start per usual. A bit too high on my tire pressure today. Lost the group on the forest roads. Bouncing around all over the place. Lesson learned. Chased down Peter Hogan till my chain dropped. Shortly following I reached down to take a drink and my water bottle and it was gone lol. I had a pack on with 1 liter and since this was a non-priority race, I decided to see how the body would react with limited water. Not good turns out 🤪. I just laughed at myself and paced my way back to the finish in 13th. Lesson learned and on to the next one.
