Morning Ride

Sunday Funday Ride with Austin

On this 2nd Cannonball Century, we start out with a large VV train on a cool early sunny morning with temp in the 60s that later rise to 89 degree.  The night prior I had packed everything I need but forgot the most crucial things, my two premixed water bottles with Herbalife Prolong that were sitting in my fridge at home.  Luckily John and anh Lễ had spare bottles with premix Prolong that I can use.  They saved my rides so thanks Anh Lễ and John.  For the entire century I made 1 pit stop to refill water and consumed a total of 3 bottles, 2 GU gels, and 1 Kirkland nut bar.  By mile 96, the cramps finally kick in hard enough and lock both of my legs during the ride.  I had to get off the bike and recover from that one.
