2024 Epic Climbs: Mendenhall and Del Valle.

Mendenhall was totally quiet - no cars, bikes or pedestrians.  It's a good thing.  The descent is narrow with no guardrails, a streep drop off and lots of blind corners. On the climb, I saw a large buck - with at least six points on the antlers.  At the bottom, there's a lot of broken glass.  It looks like a popular place to drink while overlooking the Livermore Valley.  It's worth a trip nonetheless.

Del Valle is silky smooth but not that remarkable.  It looks like a popular training road.
