Worked some steep gravel on this ride, and had to stay seated due to slippage of traction when standing. Kept working it, through 10% to 15%, 20%, and then saw 22% and was still going, but Garmin was auto-pausing due to speed under 3 mph, finally stepped off to walk when a much steeper pitch appeared ahead. Got back on in about 1/2 mile, after Garmin showed 30+% grades! Walking up gravel in cleats was not so hot, but I got 'er done!
