Road ride - beautiful roads and area, really quiet. Everything in Black Rock area was gravel and towards the far end of the loop became quite a bit more, but a gravel bike setup would have been fine. A road bike with 28mm GP5000 @ 80 psi was pushing it for me, and the descent out of Black Rock (Hulse Rd)...think I'd  need a MTB or at least a gravel bike with big tyres and dropper post. So steep, hard to get weight back on my road bike, that was bouncing everywhere and my hands got so tired to the point of failure from pulling on the brakes. If ride it again, at least on road bike, will cycle up Hulse Road to get in to the park. Amazed and impressed that my bike got through it all OK and no punctures.
