Some insights into yesterdays race:

1. pic: one of my favourite analysis dashboard, looking at best efforts and when they happened. First third of the race was really hard but i managed to do my best 30sec to 3min effort on the last lap when i attacked. This was after almost 3h with 282w avg and 3000kj. Durabity was one weakness of mine but this shows that i improved in this very important aspect of cycling.

2. pic: energy expenditure: total energy expenditure of 3400kj of which 44% was above threshold. Efforts above threshold shown in pic 3 (duration of effort on x-achsis, avg watt on y-achsis), a total of 700 and 3.6 per min, which is not super high. Our small group worked very well so therefore the pace was steady without too many accelerations.

4. pic with power and heartrate distribution. Most time at 360-380w and 175-180bpm. Hard day.

5. pic displays my climbing times on the main climb of the course. I did this race already three times, altough last year i broke my collarbone two weeks before and didn’t even finish the race. Also nice to see that the powermeter data show good reliability, first two years with Power2max, this year with Shimano PM. Weight was always around 63kg

6. pic with my all time 5-10min climbing records. Also good for comparison outside of powermeter data, which can be prone to errors. Yesterday was the second highest VAM for efforts above 5min with  1951 VAM. My record comes from the Col de Rates steep climb i did in January before Zwift Academy
