Windy and very unusually low humidity (18% 😲) out there today; we were pretty well parched by the end. Mason lost his voice, and I was super salty but bone dry, which is a new one for me.

Our coffee stop was the drive-thru-only Scooter’s in Leavenworth, which is the only coffee shop open on a Sunday in L’worth. 🤷‍♂️ … We sat on the curb, it was fine. (Scooter’s’s cold-brew was actually surprisingly tasty.)

Saddle position felt good throughout the ride (tho power didn’t seem readily available, prob just fatigue). No weird feels post-ride, we’ll see how things are tomorrow. 🤞

Derailleur died again, with about 20 mi left, refusing to up-shift. After single-speeding for a couple of miles, I decided actually to stop and check the app; it reported good battery life for the derailleur battery and both shifter batteries, but had a “recovery required” tag on the derailleur. Clicked it, and then it worked; not sure what that was about, probably my derailleur just hates me (it’s a mutual loathing), but maybe it’s giving up its ghost after getting crashed on a few months ago. 🫤

Also: I bled all over my gloves after having to beat up a runner in the bike lane early in the ride. 😐

Also also: 500k ft of up on the year.
