Wheels came off a bit on the descent, but I made the decision at the start to try and hang with David as long as I could, even if it meant suffering a little more at the end. Suffered I did. But I also covered the flat section faster than I was thinking, so pleased with that, and how I stayed present in the moment not worrying about what was ahead.
