At the parking lot start the trail was asphalt in both directions, so I wore my road racing shoes. Only about one mile of this route was paved. The other 4.5 miles was single track trail with rocks, roots, leaves, and dirt. Lucky for me, it was dry and the shoes held up. Haha!

Inexplicably, my Strava map didn't connect in a full loop. I started and ended in the same place. The distance and elevation gain are accurate.
