What an amazing day!  If you find yourself out in Sultan, I highly recommend riding out Sultan Basin Road.  It really feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere and is incredibly scenic.  Unfortunately, the big climb doesn't really start until the pavement ends.  The road is pretty steep, but the dirt hardpack and gravel road surface isn't too bad, except for some unfortunately placed loose gravel in the super steep hairpin turns.  Of course, all that loose road surface makes the descent down a bit sketchy.  Think I was going about as slow on the way down as I was on the way up at times.

Too bad the GPS wonkiness combined with Strava's detection system resulted in not getting in a time for the segment up the main climb.
