Afternoon Ride

Headed out for a century. Got a compression flat going downhill.  Got the tude changed and began screwing CO2 into the adapter. It was apparently faulty and just let the air go free 😭. Called Uber for a ride to the nearest bike shop, and all together cost me about 1.5 hrs. Got back on the road and modified my goals to a metric century. Kept adding more miles to do 70, then settled on 80mi. All the time doing the math in my head using my current distance traveled. I wound up back at home with 79mi. I guess I'll settle for being close 🤣....
