Even though there was a headwind, the trail is harder going now with all the leaves and the odd patch of mud near the Wickham end, but I think it was a more pleasant ride than back on June 29th...

With most of the trees having shed there leaves, you can see a lot more of the countryside either side of the old railway line now, rather than basically travelling through a ~9 mile "tunnel" from the dense canopy of leaves mid summer.

It's a great workout, think I passed maybe 6 people with dogs each way, no horses this time and absolutely no worry of seeing cars.

Would have liked to have done more than just one cat4 hill, but in this chilly weather, I wanted to be back home before it went dark... Which I managed with a couple of short pit stops to have some of my flask of sweet tea, just!
